That’s right – it’s here now in our Auckland Showroom – the amazing new Bluesound! Forget what you may have heard about other products, Bluesound is THE product that gives you full resolution high quality streaming to multiple rooms, with built in CD ripping and web streaming functionality. That’s right – unlike existing well known products it supports the full range of resolutions, including CD Quality (16 bit / 44.1 kHz) and high resolution formats (up to 24 bit / 192 kHz) – AND it’s so easy to use! This is the future of music streaming – a fully featured app for your smartphone or tablet allows total control and features many built in web services (with more being regularly added) like Spotify, TuneIn internet radio and Deezer, with Pandora due soon.

We are passionate about musical detail, texture and volume (we’re not just talking about decibels here), and we’ve painstakingly designed a cutting-edge pure digital platform that delivers on the total HD audio experience. Audio reproduction just like the moment they recorded it in the studio. Just like the musicans themselves wanted it to be heard. Add internet radio and online music services to your own digital audio library to the mix. Sound good? We think so. And so do the critics.

You don’t need to be an audiophile to appreciate hi-definition sound. But you might just become one once you hear what you’ve been missing.

The Vault – A fully featured networked music server & streamer, CD Ripper, DAC and more. It features Optical and Analogue audio outputs for direct connection to your Amplifier or DAC, is fully networked for streaming to other devices and control via a smartphone or tablet app, and includes a 2TB Hard Disk Drive from storage of thousands of hours of music.

The Vault’s 2TB drive will store approximately 80,000 songs at CD quality (i.e. roughly 6,000-8,000 albums) – this is in FLAC format at it’s standard lossless compression for FLAC. Potentially with MP3’s you can put about 200,000 songs on the Vault at 256kbs (iTunes standard) – a little less than that if they are at the MP3 maximum resolution of 320kbs. Read More on Vault >>

The Node – is a streaming device – use it conjunction with the vault to stream music to a second room, and even have the two synchronised to be playing the same song simultaneously in perfect unison. Or, if you already have a music server (e.g. iTunes, Windows Media Player, JRiver, Logitech Media Server) running in your home, just add the Node to allow streaming of music from that server to the Node’s location. It features Wi-Fi network connectivity, a built in DAC providing Analogue Audio Out for connection to your amplifier, plus a USB socket to allow playing of music from USB sticks and drives. Read More on The Node >>

The PowerNode – is the Node above, but with the addition of a built in 50W power amplifier – so you can run a pair of speakers straight from the streamer, without any need for separate amplification – perfect for that second or third room’s system! Also includes a subwoofer output for a 2.1 channel speaker set-up.

The Pulse – is a portable, Wi-Fi networked, streamer, amplifier, and speaker all in one. Think the Powernode above with built in speakers. It features 80W of power, has an optical input for connecting a CD Player or TV, and a USB input for playing music of USB Memory Sticks and Drives.
